Holding Company "AvtoKrAZ" closed the year 2006 with the best results as to the production and sales of KrAZ heavy-duty trucks during last 10 years.

During the year 2006 the Kremenchug Automobile Plant has produced 3486 KrAZ vehicles (rate of increase in the ratio to level of production in 2005 makes 102,2%), including 1439 trucks with engine meeting the requirements of Euro-2, that is 7,1 times more if one compares with the previous year.

Considering the total output of vehicles the share of dump trucks made here 55,6%, general purpose vehicles - 36,5%, fifth-wheel tractors - 7,9%.

The KrAZ-65055 truck called as "Prorab" is considered to be the most popular model of dump truck among builders and mining enterprises. The production of this vehicle has been increased in 4,1 times, up to 1036 units, as compared to the previous year.

Holding Company "AvtoKrAZ" also has increased the manufacture of motor-truck concrete mixers on KrAZ chassis in 3,3 times, up to 96 units. The today's nomenclature of product being manufactured presents 7and 9 cubic motor-truck concrete mixers on three- and four-axle chassis of KrAZ. The main sales share came to the Ukrainian market. Among consumers of motor-truck concrete mixers there are also building companies from Georgia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

In 2006 Holding Company "AvtoKrAZ" has sold the record number of trucks for the period of last 10 years, namely 4008 units, that is 1,2 times more as compared to the analogous period of the previous year, the most successful year in the Company's new history.

In 2006 "AvtoKrAZ" has remarkably strengthened its positions in the Ukrainian market by selling 1141 vehicles that is by 441 more than in 2005, and by 708 units more as compared to the volume sold in the year 2004. Sales increase at the domestic market is stipulated not only by competitive advantages of price/quality of KrAZ vehicles, but also by Company's offer of financial schemes as to the trucks sales on credit or leasing, being profitable for customers, as well as of flexible system of payment and delivery of vehicles, extending of company's service centers net and trade and exhibitions areas.

In 2006 according to the programs called as "KrAZ on credit" and "KrAZ on leasing" there were 301 KrAZ vehicles sold through the Finance and Credit Bank, the partner of Holding Company "AvtoKrAZ", that is 2,8 times more as compared to the analogous period of the previous year. The main customers under these programs are building companies, enterprises engaged in manufacture of building materials, mining companies, repair and road companies as well as private entrepreneurs. Products of HC "AvtoKrAZ", which are mostly sold on credit, are presented by building technique: dump trucks, motor-truck concrete mixers, crane trucks on KrAZ chassis.

In 2006 the export deliveries made 65,5 %.

In 2006 the market of Russia has been accepted 1418 KrAZ vehicles that is 1,9 times more than in the previous year.

Holding Company "AvtoKrAZ" has essentially increased its presence in other CIS countries. Here the supplies to Georgia have been enlarged up to 319 units as compared to the previous year against 18 KrAZ units delivered in 2005. Holding Company has increased the delivery of KrAZ trucks to Azerbaijan in 6,9 times, up to 125 units. Large lot of KrAZ trucks in 2006 has been delivered to Kazakhstan that made 181 trucks (rate of increase against 2005 makes 138,2%).

KrAZ trucks have returned in the markets of Angola, Burma, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, they have entered the markets of Ghana and Liberia, strengthened their positions in Egypt, Mongolia, Bulgaria, UAE, Sudan, Syria, Pakistan, Algeria and other countries.

In 2006 Holding Company "AvtoKrAZ" has sold spare parts to the total amount of 47,3 millions UAH against 33,3 millions UAH received last year.

The year 2006 has been marked as the year of automobile newcomers: KrAZ-6140 TE all-wheel drive fifth-wheel tractor with wheel arrangement 6x6, that is intended for towing of heavy-duty semi trailers with a full mass up to 70 tones, dump trucks with increased load carrying capacity equipped with platforms of higher volume, with two- and three-axial discharging (KrAZ-65055-063 called as "Prorab" with 16-cubic platform for 20 tones, KrAZ-7133S4-030 called as "Brigadir" with 20-cubic platform for 25 tones, KrAZ-6510-030 called as "Gorniak" with 10.5-cubic meters platform for 15 tones etc.), new models of special purpose technique on KrAZ basis for different branches of national economy. Number of options offered to a customer has been remarkably extended.

The project of municipal road machinery assembly production on production facilities of the mentioned automobile plant has been successfully arranged: 56 combined road vehicles on KrAZ base with the equipment manufactured by SCHMIDT, the well-known German producer, have being successfully operated by the enterprises of Ukravtodor Company. The increase of combined road vehicles production volume and extension of nomenclature for municipal technique manufactured are supposed to be done in the future.

Positive dynamic of the company's progressive development has been pictured in the results of rating researches. According to the results of the rating "TOP-100: The most dynamic companies of Ukraine" promulgated by the "Ekonomika" Publishing House Holding Company "AvtoKrAZ" has been put on the first place as to the net profit growth.

Competitive advantages of KrAZ vehicles are supported by winning prestigious contests held in frames of international motor shows, and particularly the KrAZ-7133S4 called as "Brigadir" has been called as "The best duty truck of SIA-2006 Kyiv International Motor Show", the KrAZ-65055-066 truck has been recognized as "The best special purpose vehicle" in Russia, in frames of the contest arranged by the MAF and Avtoperevozchik Magazine, the KrAZ-6140 TE new fifth-wheel tractor has been awarded with the Grand Prix in the contest arranged by the Kommercheskiy Transport Magazine in the category " The best off-road truck" (MMAS-2006), KrAZ timber lorries have been awarded with the silver medals at the "Rossiyskiy Les-2006" all Russian Exhibition etc.

Strengthening of the company's economy has allowed to invest more money in the development of social sphere. Average salary has been increased in 1,2 times as compared to the previous year. And artificially of January, 01, 2007 it made 1092 UAH. That refers also to the wages which made 1402 UAH (rate of increase against the last year - 124%).
